The Hogar del Ecuador Foundation was created in 1988, providing medical care with a general medicine office and the physiotherapy department was created. After several years, the care of specialists such as: ophthalmology, traumatology, gynecology, urology, cardiology, allergology, dermatology, geriatrics, pediatrics, dentistry is incorporated. Since 1998, with the support of the Municipality of Cuenca, the operating room has been built, performing general and trauma surgeries.

In 2015 the IFS (Institute of Social Training) donated the real estate where the Hogar del Ecuador Foundation is carried out. To date we have carried out several remodeling processes; However, structurally we have achieved the capacity to grow.

We are motivated by the service that is part of our vision and thanks to the efforts of the staff (workers, doctors, volunteers, brigades and members of the Arco church) we have acquired a 520m2 land for the construction of a SPECIALTIES CENTER, in which we We have planned to have the areas of Ophthalmology, Physical Rehabilitation with the addition of an area dedicated to respiratory physiotherapy for patients with COVID-19 sequelae, warehouses, and general services.
